INSTRUCTIONS :

Exercises
Task 3 : Illustrated Typography Poster
1.I designed this poster with a sculpture I once photographed at the Golden Hall in Viana.
Here's an eye I got from pinterest.
sketch
2.Keying the sculpture background to make it easier to add a new background later on
3.Double exposure technique is used to make the feeling of tearing the paper and embedding the eyes in it
4.Adjust the curved colour block of the background to make it fit the background better
5.Add some shadows, import the background into the paper stock, refine some small details, and the poster is complete!
6. Pick the font, risks, fears I set these two letters as the focus, so I chose a different font than the others and to stand out I did a 3d effect and added shadows to the other letters.

REFLECTION:

EXPERIENCE: I had a hard time choosing the material, I like to take pictures of landscapes and buildings with few people, but in order to make the picture look less empty, there must be a focal point, I suddenly thought of the pictures I took when I studied abroad in Italy, in the Golden Hall, my theme was to believe in myself, and this sculpture fits the theme very well!

Observation : Getting feedback from others after sharing my poster design can help me identify strengths and weaknesses, thus improving my design skills.

Takeaways : Completing a design project can boost self-confidence, especially when you see your creations being recognised by others.

Feedback :I submitted four drafts, and my teacher's advice was to highlight the content of the text, distribute the text appropriately, make the text more three-dimensional with a hovering effect, and change the appropriate fonts.
