Week 7: DOUBLE EXPOSURE

Double exposure photography is an art form that combines multiple images designed to be surreal, emotional or humorous. By using techniques such as photomontage and image blending modes, photographers can create stunning works that enhance the artistry of ordinary images.

  • Combining many photos to produce a surreal appearance is known as double exposure photography.
  • There are many tools in Photoshop that may be used to create double exposures, and using them does not require specialized equipment.
  • Tilt-shift effects can improve artistic expression and successfully turn photographs into works of art.
  • Multiple exposure photography can benefit from the addition of intriguing textures and visual effects created by creating false reflections.
  • For a well-balanced visual impression, combine straightforward photographs with intricate materials.

Week 7 : Colour Theory

The science and art of color, the various color modes (such as RGB and CMYK), and the significance of color in art and emotional communication are among the fundamental ideas of color theory that are discussed.

  • While RGB is utilized for computer screens, CMYK is the fundamental color model for printing.
  • As part of the additive color mixing concept, colors are created by combining red, green, and blue light sources.
  • Color definition heavily relies on hue, brightness, tint, and intensity.
  • Color placement can create visual harmony and affect the user's perception.
  • Monochromatic, similar, and complementary color pairings can all result in distinct visual effects and affective reactions.
  • Certain emotions can be evoked by different colors, and their psychological effects are largely universal.
The large use of red in colour psychology and why it is expressed in red?

According to color psychology, red is a powerful and eye-catching hue that frequently elicits a variety of psychological and emotional reactions. Since red is a highly noticeable color that immediately grabs the viewer's attention, it is frequently used to call attention to it. As a result, it is now frequently used in signage, advertising, and emergency signals like warning and stop signs. Second, emotional expression: intense feelings like passion, love, rage, and vigor are frequently linked to the color red. It evokes an emotional reaction in the audience by expressing a feeling of excitement or urgency.

3,Adjust exposure and curves, select gradient colours and adjust the colour of the picture

4,Change to soft light
Final work

REFLECTION:

Experience:Key out the characters to create a clipping mask, and then create a solid colour background, adjust the curves, add other materials, adjust the soft light effect, and then change the gradient, so as to make a double-exposure effect, immediately after I went to look for materials, according to these techniques and made a copy of

ObservationsThe production process is not very good at messing with the gradient link, but you can make up for this with exposure changes

Findings :Learning to make double exposures allows you to learn further about poster making

Feedback :Everything is great, just some colour spillage, careful handling would be perfect!
