• Adobe After Effects is a 2.5D animation software for animation, visual effects and motion graphics compositing.
• The software is commonly used in the post-production stage of films, television and web videos.
• After Effects uses different motion graphics animation techniques by manipulating vector and raster artwork to create and tell stories.
• Pre-compositing in Photoshop involves converting static images (graphic elements and photography) into moving images.
• For smooth animation in After Effects, all Photoshop layers need to be organised and named.

REFLECTION:

Experience: it was fun for me to follow the teacher's tutorial step by step

OBSERVATION: When using Adobe After Effects, I found its powerful animation and visual effects capabilities to be able to combine static images and video elements to create dynamic visual effects. This flexibility allows me to apply multiple techniques to different projects!

Findings : Through the use of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, I will master the basic skills of animation production, including layer management, application of animation effects and video compositing. The mastery of these techniques will enhance my ability to create digital art.
