W3: LECTURE: INTRO TO PHOTOSHOP 2

Summary of my lecture here :

This article covers the basics of Photoshop, including how to use the lasso and pen tools and manage layers. It also teaches what the Lasso and Pen tools are, and provides ways to learn and practice with them

• Photoshop has a whole toolset of additional tools that can be added to meet different needs.
• The Lasso tool allows us to draw and select specific areas of a document with great precision.

                                        

• There are three different options for the Lasso tool: the Normal Lasso, the Edge Lasso, and the Magnetic Lasso, each with its own advantages.
• When using a drawing tablet with the lasso tool, we find it much easier to draw and select.
• The Pen tool is commonly used to create paths, and the smoothness of the line drawn depends on the number of control points added.

• We can use the Pen tool to draw straight lines, U-curves, simple curves, and complex curves, which shows its flexibility.

While doing my homework, I learned several PS cutout techniques. When I opened the material, I had already started to think about how to make this picture. My idea was to express the sense of layering through repeated superposition.

Feedback

My teacher thought my design was good and chose the best one for me, but at the same time she also pointed out that my page layout was not neat enough

REFLECTION:

Experience:I used the new keying technique taught by my teacher to key out the material I wanted and overlay it; the material was fixed and used to express the image.

Observations：During the production process I found that if you do not overlay layers of painting can not achieve the effect of graphic overlay masking

Findings ：My ability to express myself in pictures and handle details has improved
